Your fitness business website should be seen as your “hub”, your foundation for all other marketing efforts. So just like you need a solid workout program for sustained success, your website is no different. You want to make sure that your website will work for you now, as well as grow with you in the years to come. Below are four key areas to make sure your website is set on a solid, BEAST foundation.
1. Built On A Flexible and Agile Platform
You know that without a strong foundation, your progress in the gym will fade. The same will happen with your website. It will become outdated and stale. Each website I create is built on the WordPress platform, which powers over 30% of all websites in existence today. It is regularly updated, robust and flexible to evolve with you. Maybe we start with a 5-page website but as your business starts booming, now we can easily increase that to 10, 15, 20+ pages without a hitch. The flip side is that if your website is built on an outdated or limiting platform, you’ll have to start all over & create a brand new website when you want to increase your website’s footprint. Not fun.
2. Professional Design With The End-User In Mind
You may be thinking that a “professional” website is one that has all the bells, whistles and shiny objects but truth be told, clean and simple is the way to go. You want to make it as easy as possible for your customers to find the information they are looking for and to do business with you. Each website I create is built with the end-user in mind. I’m always thinking to myself:
- “What impact will this have on the customer?”
- “Will this resonate with the customer?”
- “How will the customer interact with this on their mobile device?”
I want your website to quickly build trust with your visitors, to be engaging and make them want to get in contact with you – ultimately turning into a customer for life. Professionally designed websites do just that.
3. Seamless Integrations
Each of my websites are built to seamlessly integrate with other service providers (fitness and/or non-fitness). For example, maybe you use MindBody to register customers, have them sign up for your classes and take online payments. I can easily integrate their software into your website so that it works great for your customers (as well as streamlines business operations for you). Or lets say you’re just starting off, don’t use any fitness related software like MindBody but want to take online payments. I can help you setup a provider, like Stripe, to do just that.
4. You Need A Teammate For Life
Do you want someone to just build you a website and hand it off to you to update, secure and manage all on your own? If you’re like most of my customer’s, the answer to that would be no. That’s why I provide a fully managed website. This means I not only create the website, I handle all the web tech for you after the fact. I’m there whenever you need me. Saturday at 8pm or Monday at 8am. I provide a level of 1-on-1 attention that is uncommon in the web space. It’s my goal to build a deep relationship with each of my customer’s & be your teammate for life.
