Reflections on Brendon Burchard’s Coaching Summit 2024: Joy, Clarity, and Momentum
Brendon Burchard’s Coaching Summit 2024 was an unforgettable experience. It left me with so much excitement and a sense of clarity for both my personal and professional journey. Let me share some of the highlights that really resonated with me.
Joy + Earning: A Powerful Combo
Brendon started the summit by talking about a powerful idea—aligning joy with earning. It’s such a simple question, yet so important: “Does this bring me joy while also supporting my income?” That hit home. It’s not just about making money—it’s about making sure that the work lights you up. You can have both. You can do both. You need to have both.
Clarity to Move Forward
Another huge takeaway from Brendon was his focus on clarity. He mentioned that when we lack clarity, it creates doubt, which leads to feeling stuck. And if we’re stuck, we’re not moving forward. This was a recurring theme throughout, and it really got me thinking. That’s where action comes in.
As Brendon said, “Doubt increases with inaction. Clarity reveals itself in momentum. Growth comes from progress. For all these reasons, BEGIN.” This quote, shared with me by a fellow coach I met at the summit, William Wilbor, perfectly sums it up. Taking small steps forward today leads to massive steps forward tomorrow. And instead of being bogged down by all the things that need to be done, just start one step at a time.
Learning from the CHPC Framework
Going into the summit, I had heard of Brendon’s Certified High Performance Coaching (CHPC) framework but couldn’t tell you much about it. I just knew it was one of things Brendon sells. If you are unfamiliar, it’s a coaching program (Brendon’s coaching program) designed to help people reach higher levels of performance by focusing on things like clarity, energy, courage, productivity, and influence.
Even though I’m not certified in this framework, I found a lot of value from Brendon’s talks. I walked away with an outline and structure for my own coaching program, which I’m excited to adapt and tweak. It gave me a solid starting point to guide clients through meaningful transformations—something I can’t wait to put into action. This goes back to the clarity piece because going into the summit, I had no clarity around this. I feel like I was put through a crash course in less than 48hrs.
Natalie Ellis: Simplifying Business for Success
Natalie Ellis from BossBabe delivered one of the most impactful sessions of the summit. For the first 20 minutes or so of her presentation, I was thinking, “Where’s she going with this?” But then she dropped gold.
She talked about how, as entrepreneurs, we often feel we need to be everywhere—on every social platform, running every lead magnet, and jumping on every trend. It’s freakin’ exhausting (and tbh, annoying)!
Her advice was refreshingly simple: pick one marketing tactic and one social media platform. Master those. Be consistent, and the results will follow. This approach really struck me. That kind of intention simplicity really speaks to my soul.
She also emphasized the importance of knowing your numbers. If you know that out of 100 webinar attendees, 20 will buy, then your goal each week is simple: focus on getting those 100 attendees. Forget the busy work and distractions—just focus on driving the numbers that matter.
Networking with Intention
One thing I’m really grateful for from this summit was my approach to networking. I was more intentional this time around. Since I had attended one of Brendon’s Growth Day events (it’s a single day event) at the same venue before, I had a good sense of how things flowed. I made it a point to connect with as many people as possible, and it paid off. I met some amazing coaches that I can’t wait to continue the conversation with.
Leaving with Momentum
One of the biggest wins for me was the momentum I left with. Brendon challenged us to create the framework for our coaching program by the end of the weekend—I did that and more. I came home with so much positive energy and excitement to launch my first coaching program. I have a solid framework that I’m pumped to build on. And I’m so excited for what’s ahead!
Final Thoughts
This summit wasn’t just about learning new strategies—it was about personal alignment, too. I’m walking away with a renewed sense of purpose, clear steps to move forward, and an excitement that I haven’t felt in a while.
I can’t wait to see where this momentum takes me. If this summit taught me anything, it’s that clarity and consistent action will always move the needle.
PS – I know the question you’re really wondering is if made it to In-N-Out. Yes, yes I did. There times over two days :) Here’s a picture to prove it.
