Growth, Travel, Repeat: How Each Fuels the Other in My Life
I had lunch with a friend last weekend and he brought something up that I hadn’t thought about before. He mentioned that travel for me leads to growth. That line stuck with me. It made me realize how much these two areas are connected in my life – growth and travel. Or travel and growth. And it inspired me to write this post.
I’ve always been the kind of person who’s into personal growth. I like to think deeply about things, follow my own path, and honestly, I’ve always felt like an Old Soul. While a lot of people around me seemed content with what they knew, I was always curious, always looking for new perspectives and experiences. It’s just how I’m wired—wanting to learn and grow as much as I can.
About five years ago, I started traveling for work, mostly to visit clients. Around that same time, I launched a podcast, which led to meeting some of my guests in person during those work trips.
But something clicked when I started traveling solo. I got comfortable with it pretty fast, and suddenly, there was this feeling that spoke to me on a deeper level. Traveling alone brought this sense of peace and alignment that’s hard to put into words. So naturally, I wanted more of it.
That’s when I realized that all this travel was leading me to discover more about myself. And as I learned more about myself, I sought out more travel. It became this really cool cycle—one experience feeding into the next. The more I traveled, the more I grew, and the more I grew, the more I wanted to explore.
It’s a cycle that’s been fueling both my personal growth and my adventures ever since.
Now, looking back, I see how connected growth and travel are in my life. Each new place I go opens up something inside me, and that inner discovery keeps pushing me toward new adventures. It’s like this endless loop that keeps me moving forward, learning, and becoming more of who I’m meant to be.
