Overview: Brian Yurasits (AKA “Yuri”) is a marine scientist, surfer, and fisherman hybrid from Portsmouth, NH. He currently works full-time as a Community Outreach Manager for the Seacoast Science Center’s Marine Mammal Rescue Program. Brian also runs his own business called Wildlife By Yuri where he repurposes used fishing rope into dog leashes. He is an avid photographer, documenting local wildlife and ocean threats such as plastic pollution to help amplify the conservation messages of individuals around the world.
